Today we'd like to call out the extraordinary work a local couple is doing to reset gravestones in cemeteries in our area. These volunteers, who prefer to remain anonymous, restore dignity to these important memorials by rebuilding a solid and level foundation with 2A modified and limestone dust and then power washing and setting the capstones, intermediate stones, and headstones.
This volunteer work fosters a sense of shared responsibility for preserving local history and ensures that these resting places continue to be respected and maintained for generations to come. The WDI Yard is honored to be a part of this important work by donating 2A modified stone and dust to this project this season. #GivingBack
