Today we'd like to call out the extraordinary work a local couple is doing to reset gravestones in cemeteries in our area. These volunteers, who prefer to remain anonymous, restore dignity to these important memorials by rebuilding a solid and level foundation with 2A modified and limestone dust and then power washing and setting the capstones, intermediate stones, and headstones. This volunteer work fosters a sense of shared responsibility for preserving local history and ensures that these resting places continue to be respected and maintained for generations to come.
